The A-TEAM was fiction. But through God's grace and love, and our efforts I pray the E-TEAM will become reality: In 2011, a crack commando unit was prevented from being formed by satanic attacks on the creator of the B.A.R.N.A.B.A.S. Initiative, in an attempt to stop them from spreading of the Word of God. This person was eventually delivered from a maximum-security prison of fear and doubt into the light of God's Love as He promises to do for all of us. Today, still wanted by satan and his demons, they survive as God's army, the Christians. If you have a problem... if no one else can help... if they can find you... or if you can find them... maybe you can be delivered by God through... Everyone needs an encourager
someone bold enough to step up
and help the underdogs to heal and know
that hope shines, even in the darkest of times.

A light of hope that helps them see
the tremendous untapped potential they possess
and the awesome contributions they can make
just by using the gifts and abilities God gave them.

God always provides such people
when most needed and least expected.
So look around until you find yours
and your weakened spirit will be recharged.

But if there are none to be found
to ignite your life’s fire and passion
there can be but one reason—
the missing encourager is you.

So be bold;
step up;
help those in need.
Be—

What is The B.A.R.N.A.B.A.S Initiative?

The B.A.R.N.A.B.A.S Initiative
is my attempt to pass on the truths I have learned from God’s Word, in order to support and encourage others who are fearful, doubting, or in need of positive, encouraging truths from the Word of God that could help them grow into spiritually mature believers who will also support and encourage others.

I welcome any and all responses to my postings, whether you agree, disagree, or simply have a question or comment.

The name “Barnabas” is a Hebrew name meaning "son of consolation". In the Bible, when someone was called the "son of" someone it not only could mean they were the physical descendent of a person, it also could mean that person's behavior mirrors someone or something else.

The Hebrew “Bar” means “son of”, and “nabas” means “consolation, exhortation, or comfort”. Thus, Barnabas in the New Testament, who may well have been the son of a man named Nabas was, by his example in helping Paul in his ministry, a physical example of the Biblical principle of helping, supporting, and encouraging others. He was literally “the son of encouragement”.

We as Christians are called to the same purpose. The Great Commission (Matt.28:16-20) and the Golden Rule (Matt. 7:12) are only two examples of this. Jesus Christ is the perfect example of this principle,
and His command for us to be and make disciples was given for the same reason.

What is an INITIATIVE?

The dictionary defines an INITIATIVE in three ways that apply to the purpose and goal of this blog:

1. It's an introductory act or step; leading action: as encouragers we don't wait to be invited or for someone else to make the first move; we make the first move to encourage others.

2. It's a readiness and ability in initiating action; enterprise: As Christians, we are indwelled and empowered by God Himself. We have unlimited resources to draw from in our desire to encourage others.

3. It's one's personal, responsible decision: It is totally up to us to make the decision to do it. God gives us all we need to know and do it but it is up to us to take the initiative to become encouragers.

So step up;
take your place as Jesus’ disciple;
be a son of encouragement.
